		Professor Tu Guoyuan is a distinguished professor and Ph.D. supervisor specializing in translation theory and practice. Born in 1964 in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, he has held visiting scholarships at Cornell University. Professor Tu started his career in 1984 and was promoted to associate professor with master's supervisor qualifications in 1995, and then to professor in 1999. Since 2004, he has served as a Ph.D. supervisor. In April 2014, he joined Ningbo University from Central South University(CSU). He has published over 100 papers and authored/translated/edited more than 20 books, winning over 20 provincial and ministerial teaching and research awards. Professor Tu has hosted and completed over 20 national and provincial teaching and research projects, including those sponsored by the National Social Science Fund, with his national social science fund project being rated as excellent upon completion. He holds numerous academic positions, including committee member of the Master of Translation and Interpreting Education Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, and his contributions have been recognized through titles such as Expert with Special Government Allowance from the State Council.
		Wang Songlin, Ph.D. in Literature, Yongjiang Distinguished Scholar and Anzhong Chair Professor of English of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ningbo University, China. He was once a visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge (2001-2002) and the University of Edinburgh (2014- 2015). His academic membership includes: Deputy Secretary-General of the International Association for Ethical Literary Criticism, executive member of the Chinese Society for Comparative Study of Chinese and Foreign Languages and Cultures(CSCSCFLC), vice president of the Association of Literature Education of CSCSCFLC, executive member of the Society of British Literature of the CASFL, vice president of Zhejiang Provincial Society for Comparative Literature and Foreign Literature, and director of the Research Centre for World Sea Literature and Culture of Ningbo University. He is the leader of three projects supported by National Social Science Foundation of China. He has published widely on Joseph Conrad, Thomas Carlyle, ethical literary criticism, comparative literature and sea literature. His academic interests are 19th century English literature, ethical literary criticism, and poetics of sea literature.
		Professor Yu Shanzhi is a distinguished professor at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ningbo University, specializing in Applied Linguistics, Second Language Syntax, Foreign Language Teaching Theory and Practice, and Stylistics. Holding a PhD in English Language and Literature, he has published extensively, contributing over 30 academic papers in reputable journals and authoring several books including "Research on Sentence Pattern Development of L2 Learners" and "Modern English Teaching Theory". 		Born in September 1962 in Shucheng, Anhui Province, Yang Chenghu is a professor and a member of the Chinese Communist Party. Since 2002, he has been teaching at the School of Foreign Languages, Ningbo University.
		Professor Xin Hongjuan is a distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ningbo University, specializing in the translation and dissemination of cultural classics, as well as the theory and practice of literary translation. Recognized as an New Century Excellent Talent by the Ministry of Education and a specially appointed professor at Zhejiang's institutions of higher learning, Professor Xin has hosted nearly 20 international, national, and provincial research projects. 		Professor He Ying, a distinguished researcher in translation studies with a Ph.D. from Shaanxi Normal University and an M.A. in English Language and Literature from Xi’an International Studies University, currently serves as a valued faculty member at Ningbo University's Faculty of Foreign Languages since 2019. With a robust academic background and extensive teaching experience, she has significantly contributed to advancing translation education and research. As a leading scholar in Ningbo University and the Eastern Zhejiang Region, and an editorial board member of the SSCI journal Babel, Professor He has taught courses such as Online News Translation & Editing, Terminology Translation, Translation of Key Concepts in Chinese Thought and Culture, and Computer-Assisted Translation. Her dedication to teaching has been recognized through numerous awards, including a Second Prize for National Teaching Achievements and several provincial and university-level honors. In terms of research, she has led and participated in various nationally and provincially funded projects focusing on translation pedagogy, cultural translation, and MTI education, publishing over a dozen research papers in CSSCI academic journals like Chinese Translators Journal and Foreign Language Teaching. Additionally, she has authored and translated several books published by esteemed publishers, including the Commercial Press and China Social Sciences Press. Professor He also actively contributes to the academic community by regularly participating in conferences and serving as a reviewer for research projects and papers. 		Professor Zhang Nan is an esteemed scholar specializing in Sino-Japanese comparative literature and Japanese literature. Holding a Ph.D. in literature, she currently serves as the academic leader of Japanese Language and Literature at Ningbo University. With a rich academic background in both Chinese classical literature and Japanese literature, Professor Zhang has published over 20 papers in prestigious domestic and international journals, including several that have been reprinted in academic publications such as Xinhua Digest, Renmin University Reprints, and Social Science Digest. She has also authored and edited numerous books and textbooks. Professor Zhang has successfully hosted and completed various research projects funded by the Ministry of Education, Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, and the Sino-Japan Academic Friendship Exchange Fund. Her research endeavors have been recognized through appointments as a guest researcher at Soka University in Japan and previous leadership roles in institutions such as the "Ikeda Studies Institute" at Nanjing University of Science and Technology.

Professor Zhang Yun is a highly esteemed scholar in German literature, holding a Ph.D. from the University of Eichstätt in Germany. She currently serves as a Professor and the Head of the German Department at Ningbo University's Faculty of Foreign Languages. Professor Zhang boasts a robust educational background, having earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Western Language and Literature from Peking University. Professor Chen Jianping is a highly esteemed professor and graduate supervisor at Ningbo University, specializing in Business English, Legal English, Business Translation, and Legal Linguistics. Professor Zhang Zhi is a highly esteemed professor and the vice dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Ningbo University.
